建于1956年，甘榜罗弄万国已有58年的历史，远远超越了我国的历史。就算随着我国近年来的不断发展，这个甘榜还是大概60位新加坡人的家园而住在这里的居民继续维护他们的家园。拍摄这个地方的目的是希望能展现50/60年代的新加坡并且提高观众意识。
